Emotional Mastery
Are you emotionally slutty? It is every part of my nature to want to connect, to go deep, to feel fully and completely. I love this about myself but it can get me into trouble if I engage in this way with the wrong people
Part of the path to self-mastery is mastering our emotions, not only in the content of what we are feeling, but when, how, and with whom. Emotional boundaries are essential to protecting our energy and staying in our power. One way I've found to set mine is mindfully slowing the connection down and drawing out intensity instead of experiencing everything "now."
